  3. Companies answer call for customization: manufacturers are personalizing the home with built-in fresh food, freezer and wine columns you can place anywhere in your home; freezers that let you choose from 100 different organization systems; and digital showers with a touchscreen interfaces that make it easy to enhance your showering experience, from water temperature, water intensity, steam treatment and lighting to surround sound.
  4. Growth in outdoor living: homeowners continue to see their outdoor living space as an extension of the home. Open fire features, outdoor pizza ovens and building products that provide a seamless transition between indoors and out.
