When Jeff and Marty purchased their North Beach home it was more of a bachelor pad than the sophisticated San Francisco condominium they envisioned downsizing to. But, they fell in love with the view of Coit Tower and had to have it. “We instantly saw the potential with the space. We knew we could make it into our dream home,” said Marty.
Marty redesigned the second floor flat to match their aesthetic and lifestyle, with a touch of California modernism. “It was a labor of love,” Marty said.
A few years later, the couple set their sights on becoming expats, put the stylish 1,174 sq. ft. two-bedroom/two-bath unit up for sale, and moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Built in 1906, it’s located on the border of Russian Hill and Nob Hill.
The couple wanted every room move-in ready. Beckner Contracting & Management covered a checklist of repairs. The home hit the MLS and sold for top dollar in a bidding war.
