Curating home.

Curate your kitchen and dining areas with beautiful objects and happiness. Where “things” become art. Thoughtful mishmashes that spark joy! Imagine open shelves displaying vintage Fiesta bowls, a collection of etched glass pitchers, Grandmother’s bone china, or stacks of artisanal glass jars. Each item tells a story. Even salt and pepper shakers. Adding charm, historical significance, and personality.

In our kitchen, we rotate pre-Columbian artifacts with French cake stands, drying herbs, heirloom tomatoes, the kids’ finger paintings, bowls of fresh-picked apples, and found objects. Though not everything everywhere all at once.

Holidays and the four seasons work perfectly for themed decor. Like fairy lights, miniature pumpkins, fall leaves, and pomegranates. Heart wreaths, Easter eggs, Americana, and pinecones. You get the idea.

Dr. Dacher Keltner, author of “Awe: The New Science of Everyday Wonder and How It Can Transform Your Life”, studies the science of beauty, suggesting we incorporate more of it. To gain deeper satisfaction, an enhanced sense of meaning, and greater kindness for self, others, and our environment.
