Industrial: Live/Work Space Renovation

We created usable floor space and creature comforts in a San Francisco Mission District industrial live/work space for a busy commercial landscape architecture firm. First up, Beckner Contracting & Management designed and built a custom high ceiling pulley system to store employees’ bikes. Essentially, a bike rack in the sky.

In addition, we:

  • maximized space and utility, installing a mini-Ikea kitchen
  • innovated his and hers utilitarian baths with 12-inch-radius tile coving, wall finishes, soffit of tropical hardwood, and new fixtures
  • installed insulation under the soaring 20-foot+ domed open-beam roof
created more usable floor space for landscape architecture firm
